Zip Code and Addresses
We are finding an increasing amount of orders coming through with incomplete addresses and in particular missing zip codes or post codes. Please enter your address exactly as it should appear on an envelope. If you leave any part of your address out of your order then your order will be delayed and there is absolutely nothing we can do about that. It takes time for us to email you to get the missing post code and we can only do this when we have sufficient time.

How To Place An Order
Firsty you will need to go to either of the catalogues we have now set up on the site. You can choose to either look at our new stock or if you want to check out our back in stock or Irish releases then you simply follow the link in the catalogue page. The rest will all be explained as you follow the ordering process. You can now register if you are a regular user so the only details you will need to put in with each order is your credit card details. click here to go to the catalogue main page.
*****IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING ENTERING YOUR ADDRESS AND CREDIT CARD
Please fill in each line of your postal address in each empty space on the form, this form will print out your address exactly as it should appear on an envelope so don't put it all into just one line. Also make sure to add your zip code exactly where it should be on your address, we don't have a box marked zip code so just put it in where it should appear in your address.
Please be very careful entering your credit card number, the box to input your card number will just show little dots when you enter your number as a security measure so please enter the card number slowly and correctly, if you put in the wrong number it will seriously slow down the processing of your order.

Site Log In And Registering
Its quite simple to register, just follow the details for registering and once you have filled in your details once you will never have to do it again on the site. All you will need for your return visit is your credit card number, obviously we will not store your card details in our databse. This will obviously speed up the ordering process for people who want to order from us more than once. I know how much of a pain it is to have to fill in all your address details and such every time you place an order so from now on you can just put them in once and then you will receive a username and password. Thats all you will need from now on. Great isn't it.

How Do I Find A Particular Artist
If you click on the Browse Catalogue from the front page you can either type the artists name in the search box, you can also search for the name of the album if you are not sure of the artist.
If you want you can also click on the letters and search for an artist alphabetically.
Here are a few tips for searching, if you are looking for an artists name, then type in the surname followed by first name. For eg, if you are looking for Johnny Cash, then search for Cash, Johnny.
If you are looking for a band beginning with The, eg The Frames, then you need to type in Frames, The.

What Are The Different Zones
ZONE 1 includes Ireland and Northern Ireland.
ZONE 2 includes the U.K. (England, Scotland and Wales).
ZONE 3 includes the rest of Europe.
ZONE 4 includes all other countries (U.S.A., Canada, Australia, Japan and more).

How Long Will My Order Take To Get To Me
Orders to Ireland will generally take 1 to 3 working days.
Orders to England, Scotland, Wales and the U.K. will take 2 to 4 working days.
The rest of Europe normally takes 7 to 14 working days but our experience so far leads us to believe it will not take that long but please allow this long.
The rest of the world including U.S.A., Australia, Japan, Israel will take 5 to 10 working days.
All other countries including Russia, Mexico, South Africa will take 5 to 14 working days.
Please note these ESTIMATED times are all for AIRMAIL only.

ECONOMY MAIL takes much much longer, if you want details on surface economy mail then please email us first.

How Much Does Postage Cost

Zone 1 will cost approx どィ1.74 for 1 to 2 cd's, どィ5.00 for 1 to 2 Lp's.
Zone 2 will cost approx どィ3.05 for 1 to 2 cd's, どィ6.00 for 1 to 2 Lp's.
Zone 3 will cost approx どィ3.05 for 1 to 2 cd's, どィ8.00 for 1 to 2 lp's
Zone 4 will cost approx どィ3.55 for 1 to 2 cd's, どィ6.00 to どィ10.00 for 1 to 2 lp's.

Please note that these are ESTIMATED costs. Our site generates the postage costs automatically by weight so you can check the acutal cost before you click the buy button at the end. This costs are for Airmail only, economy mail is slighly cheaper but we really really don't recommned you choose economy as it will take rather a long time.

I Think I May Have Entered An Incorrect Card Number
If you think you have entered an incorrect card digit or even a wrong expiry date don't worry. You simply mail us and let us know the problem. If the card number is wrong we can call you back if you give us your number or you can fax it over to us. If the expiry date is wrong then simply email us with your order and the correct expiry date. See, we really are trying to make is as easy as possible now.

What Happens If I Don't Receive My Order
Please check these maximum postage times before getting concerned about your order.
Orders from Ireland please wait one week.
Orders from the U.K. please wait 10 days.
Orders from the rest of Europe please wait 2 weeks.
Orders from the rest of the world please wait 2 weeks.
Orders from U.S.A and Canada please wait 2 weeks.
If you order still hasn't arrived after this length of time then please email us with a copy of your confirmation order and we will track down your order for you.

I Think I Put In The Wrong Address With My Order
If you simply email us as soon as you can and let us know if you have left out a zip code or a line from your address. We will sort out the address problem before shipping the item out to you. Don't be afraid, we are human too and we all make mistakes from time to time. We promise we won't laugh at you for forgetting your own address.

I Didn't Receive My Order Confirmation
Our system automatically emails a copy of your order to you within a minute of you ordering from the site. If you don't receive it within 5 or 10 minutes then please email us with all your details, most important your name and address. The most likely cause for this is a wrong character in your email address. We will then forward you a copy of the order for your own records.

I Can't Find What I'm Looking For
If you are looking for a particular title by an artist that you can't find in the catalogue then go to the CANT' FIND IT section at the top of the page and fill in the form, it could be either be just temporarily out of stock or else we can order it in for you and ship it out to you when we get it. Don't be afraid to ask, you will genuinely be surprised how many titles are actually still available but obviously we can't keep everything in stock. Please note there is no extra charge for this service, it doesn't cost us anything to do so we are not going to charge you for it either.

I Saw An Item Listed Yesterday But It's Not There Anymore.
If you saw something in the catalogue yesterday and its not in the catalogue anymore then you can email us with all the details or use the CAN'T FIND IT form on the site. Chances are its either just temporarily out of stock or in some cases with limited releases its all sold out.

Information about "Personal Shopper Service"
Personal Shopper Service.


Ok heres the deal, it's quite easy really.


Some people prefer to use the website each time they place an order which is perfectly fine with us but we have had a few requests from people who order regularly from us seeking to set up their own personal accounts with the shop.

So here's what we plan to do for you.


If you are a regular or returning customer and you want to set up your own "Personal Shopper Account" then follow these 4 easy steps.

1. Just send us an email [info@roadrecs.com] with your name, address and the date of the last order you placed with us.

2. Put "Personal Shopper" in the subject line of the email

3. From then on simply email us with the items you require to be sent out to you, including your name and address.

4. We will parcel up your order, charge your card and put it in the post with your receipt.


Basically we are trying to make life easier for you if you using the site on a regular basis, now you won't have to fill in any forms, just one email and your order is placed.



This will work well, particularly with limited editions and one off pressings and also for members of our weekly email newsletter, you can simply reply to the email with the items you want from the list and we will put them in the post for you asap.
